Mary of Nazareth

 Mary of Nazareth

Mary of Nazareth is, without a doubt, among the figures of public knowledge, one of the most mentioned, celebrated, loved, etc.; she is also one of the most polemicized because she goes from the extreme of idolatry, being considered a saint and virgin by some religious segments, to the destruction of her image, with kicks and curses, by others.

In this "middle ground", there are those who see her as a historical character of great importance for the period called "after Christ", considering that she was the path for another great historical character to come to Earth who, regardless of the religious viewpoint, gave a new direction to events and transformed human relations: Jesus of Nazareth.

Among these, there are those who consider Mary to be a being of high stature, with a purity of feeling that escapes our understanding, who worked in the deepest simplicity, being the queen of all the Spirits who work in the Earth's atmosphere.

They believe that Mary loves us and calls us her children, that she is a true symbol of the woman of the future, teaching us to breathe in the spiritual atmosphere, representing a clear path of security for women to recognize their own values.

As a woman, Mary would have been near the cross, facing the torture of her beloved son, allowing herself the painful agony; she immersed herself in various memories of life with him and, after his departure, she continued dedicated to listen, counsel and support all those who sought her, serving until her last days, exemplifying with the sublime love that was peculiar to her.

In these segments, Mary's holiness/virginity is not questioned; the focus is placed on what she represents of charity, generosity, giving; what touches the heart is to trust that there is a Spirit of this level interceding with Jesus for Humanity.

One can choose many other approaches to this fantastic woman, and it seems to us that she cannot be considered the patrimony of some, that she does not fit into "circumscribed boxes", because, regardless of beliefs and rites, it is certain that many and varied are those who trust in her love and in the sweet protection of her "mantle" and few are those who remain indifferent to Mary of Nazareth.
