Prayers to drive away evil spirits that will transform your life

Tom Cross

Did you know that many negative things happen in our lives because of spiritual influence? There are many reasons why disturbing souls are close to us. But what can we do to keep evil spirits away from our surroundings? Who are these beings that want to harm us so much?

Evil spirits are a type of obsessive spirit (which many people also popularly call a caster). They are disembodied souls who are busy tormenting someone's life. Not all of them are bad, because some just couldn't let go of the material life because of the relationship they had with the one who stayed here. But there are malicious ones, who are always prone to harm us.

If we had a relationship in life with the "vengeful" obsessing spirit, he believes that we deserve to suffer as he suffers. But there may be spirits with whom we have not had a history, but who are being attracted by our low vibrational frequency. That's right: they take advantage of our energetic imbalance, which is in tune with their moral inferiority. Our negative energy is areal magnet for them.

These maladjusted, corrupted, and unbalanced souls make a real mess of our lives, bringing physical, emotional, and environmental problems, for example, a sudden headache (when health is up to date), excessive tiredness, mood swings, stress, victimization, addictions, financial problems, appliances breaking down, plants dying, among others.

To avoid these evil influences, it is necessary to balance mind, body, and spirit. Prayer is also a very effective form of defense, especially because it is an important channel of communication with higher spiritual beings, who are our protectors. To help you in this mission, we have brought you tips on prayers, psalms, and spiritist prayers to drive away evil spirits and transform your life.Sharpen your faith and choose one to do.

St. Augustine's prayer to ward off evil spirits

This is the original prayer of St. Augustine, which helps us in moments when we feel that our energies are being sucked by a disturbing spirit, which feeds on them to strengthen itself. This is a very powerful prayer.

"In the power of God and of St. Augustine, I ask that all souls who are penitent, unenlightened, suffering, and all suffering be removed from my life, my home, my family (children, husband, relatives).

Let them be taken to the college of St. Augustine, imprisoned, chained by the strength of St. Augustine, overpowered, and given peace and quiet, giving me peace and quiet too."

Prayer of Saint Catherine to drive away obsessive spirits

Saint Catherine is one of the fourteen Helping Saints, those invoked in case of special needs. She was very wise, eloquent, courageous, and never renounced her faith. This prayer brings the strength and light of the saint to ward off obsessing spirits and bad influences.

"O Glorious and powerful Saint Carina, you who are the illuminator of the path of all men and women, who use your immense power of light to drive away evil, drive away from me the obsessive spirits who try to harm my life.

Saint Catherine, drive away from me and from those I love, the evil spirits and all the evil energy that wants to afflict and suffocate us. Pour your light over our lives and answer my cry, I beg you, Amen".

Buddhist Mantra for Spiritual Strengthening

Mantras are usually used as repeated prayers, with the purpose of transforming our inner emotions. And this one is a great option to ward off negative energies and protect against negativity. It is known as the Compassion Mantra:

"Om Mani Padme Hum" (pronounced Om Mani Peme Hum).

Om: symbolizes the presence of all Buddhas, the light. It closes the doors to suffering.

Mani: means "the jewel of compassion," and is considered the sound of transformation. It closes the doors to dense feelings, such as envy.

Padme: means "lotus flower". The lotus flower is born out of darkness, out of dirt, but manages to stay intact. This can be a good analogy for us to keep our soul protected against bad influences, especially spiritual ones.

Hum: means "enlightened mind", and is a sound with the purpose of promoting cleansing and dispelling shadows. It frees the soul from all that is not positive, also closing the door to anger and hatred.

Spiritist Prayer to drive away evil spirits

This is a prayer that, besides asking for protection for us, asks the spiritual world to also watch over the lost and erratic souls who are wandering around with their senses troubled by the desire for revenge and harm to others. It also asks that we be conscious and do our part not to spread what is bad.

Master Jesus, I ask You to keep me aware of my place on this earth.

May you enlighten me on the journey to my spiritual evolution.

Christ, You who are the representation of humility, grant that I may not enter the path of pride, selfishness, envy and animosity.

Because I know that they attract obsessive, evil, trickster, and malicious spirits.

May their action not be able to influence me!

And may the higher beings hold my hand and enlighten my heart.

But, Heavenly Father, I also ask You to lead me along the path of Light

So that I can also help these unbalanced and delinquent souls find encouragement.

They may be configured in evil, but they are lost, so they inflict on us evil thoughts, suffering, and pernicious actions.

Jesus, don't let the traps of evil get in my way and in the way of the people I love.

Do not allow me to clothe myself in pride and arrogance.

Hatred does not nurture, jealousy does not do good, covetousness does not perfect.

Only love is the path to evolution.

So be it, in the name of God the Father Almighty.

Besides prayers, there are also psalms, which are of great help, since they connect us to God directly. Here are some of the most powerful ones.

Psalms to drive away evil spirits

Psalm to drive away obsessors

"O Lord, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth!

Exalt yourself, O judge of the earth, and give to the proud what they deserve.

How long, Lord, how long will the wicked exult?

How long shall they speak, speaking pompous words, and boast all that work iniquity?

They crush your people, O Lord, and afflict your heritage.

They kill the widow and the stranger, and take the life of the orphan.

And they say, 'The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.

Take heed, ye fools among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise?

Shall he who formed the ear not hear? Or he who formed the eye not see?

Will not he who disciplines the nations correct? He who instructs man in knowledge,

The Lord knows the thoughts of man, which are of vanity.

Blessed is the man whom you rebuke, O Lord, and whom you teach your law,

To give him rest from the days of adversity, until a pit is dug for the wicked.

For the Lord will not cast away his people, nor forsake his inheritance.

But judgment will come again in righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow.

Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

If the Lord had not been my help, my soul would already be dwelling in the place of silence.

When I said, 'My foot slips; Your mercy, O Lord, has sustained me.

When the cares of my heart are multiplied, your consolations recreate my soul.

Can the throne of iniquity, which forges evil with the law as its pretext, be associated with you?

They run amok against the life of the righteous and condemn innocent blood.

But the Lord has been my high tower; and my God the rock of my high tower; and my God the rock of my refuge.

He will bring their own iniquity upon them, and destroy them in their own wickedness; the Lord our God will destroy them."

Psalm 94 is for us to praise God, asking Him to stop evildoers and their works. It criticizes those who do evil, who disregard His Word. These people will one day repent and, therefore, must abandon these pernicious attitudes, or else they will "dig their own grave. God will not allow evil to perpetuate itself. When we recite this psalm, we will receive protection both againstthe bad people as well as against evil spirits.

Psalm to ward off evil spirits

"Lord, my God, in you I trust; save me from all who persecute me, and deliver me;

Lest he tear my soul apart like a lion, tearing it to pieces, and there is none to deliver.

Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is perversity on my hands,

If I paid back with evil the one who had peace with me (rather, I freed the one who oppressed me without cause),

Let the enemy pursue after my soul and overtake it; let him trample my life under foot upon the earth and reduce my glory to dust.

Arise, O Lord, in thine anger; be thou exalted because of the wrath of mine oppressors; and awake for me to the judgment which thou hast commanded.

So the gathering of peoples will surround you; because of them, turn to the heights.

The Lord will judge the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.

Let there be an end to the wickedness of the wicked, but let the righteous be established; for You, O righteous God, test hearts and minds.

My shield is from God, who saves the upright in heart.

God is a just judge, a God who is angry every day.

If man does not repent, God will sharpen his sword; he has already drawn his bow, and is ready.

And he has already prepared deadly weapons for it; and he will put his flaming arrows into action against the persecutors.

Behold, he is in the pains of perversity; he has conceived works and produced lies.

He dug a pit and made it deep, and fell into the pit he made.

His work shall fall on his head; and his violence shall descend on his own head.

I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness and sing praises to the name of the most high Lord."

Psalm 7 was written by King David and talks about God and his power to uphold justice and protect against evil. The enemies here can be from the material plane, but they can also come from the spiritual plane, attached to some kind of vengeance or evil. Here the lions represent that enemy.

Psalm to ward off evil

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing.

Lay me down in green pastures, lead me gently to still waters.

Cool my soul; lead me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies, you anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for long days."

This is the mighty Psalm 23. Nothing can stand against it. It is one of the best known in all of the Bible. Even if all difficulties are present in our lives, there is nothing that we lack, because God will always take care of our needs and of our integrity. God is our greatest guide in life. He is a father, a friend, a companion, a shelter. If we have God by our side, nothing can reach us!
